Ever wonder what you're supposed to do with your time on Earth? It's one of those universal, ever-present questions that everyone has to ask themselves at some point.

Sorry to break the news early, but this post won't answer that question for you. BUT, maybe it will help you move in the right direction. The Japanese have an eloquent concept for this - Ikigai. While sounding like "icky guy", the reality of this Japanese concept is far from gross. Ikigai translates into "a reason for being" and is an amazing crossroads of profession, vocation, passion and mission.

Get paid. Obviously most people work to sustain living or a lifestyle. But that will only get you so far. Maybe you get bored, maybe you aren't helping society, or maybe you aren't even good at it. Whatever it is, you can't stay here for long but it's a start.
